Frontend Dev Intern at Next-It Solutions
I have been recruited as a remote intern for the frontend development team at Next-It Solutions. It was a great experience to work on real-world projects and learn new skills. Checkout Next-It Solutions for more information.
I was given the opportunity to work on a marketplace to provide a centralized platform for buying and selling goods and services in Cameroon. My aim was to improve the user experience and overall design which was already provided in Figma. I got the opportunity to work deeply with Vite.js and Redux.

Freelance Project for US client
I built a website for my US client for students to promote their businesses better on Campus. We went over various designs and features to make it user friendly and considerably helpful. Implimenting a Services and Product marketplace while having Ride sharing features and events and messaging was a hurdle. My client was very confused with what he wanted and was pretty bad at surveys. This significatnly lengthened the project.
Atlast we decided to settle on a service Marketplace which turned out pretty well. The final result are available on the DormBiz website.

CITS National Hackathon 2024
Participating in the CITS National Hackathon 2024, an extremely competitive and innovative hackathon organized by the CITS (Cameroon International Tech Summit) with 70 teams, 350 participants to win $20000 in cash prizes for a themed project within a 72 hours. Sponsored by international partners like UNDP, giz.
It was a prestigious event where I had the opportunity to work on a project for directed towards E-governance. My team developed Tchinda Platform to tackle bureaucratic efficiency in Cameroon. It was a great experience to learn entrepreneurial thinking, project preparation and problem-solving skills. Thanks to CITS and Mountain Hub and their partners.

CITS Yaounde Regional Hackathon 2024
Participating to the regional hackthon in Youande to build innovative solutions in 48 hours with $4000 in prizes was amazing. It was organised by Mountain hub and CITS at Mont Febe Hotel with the support of international partners like giz.
It was an eye opening experience to plan, craft, build and pitch a solution as an entrepreneur. Thanks to CITS and Mountain Hub and their partners

Launched Sneaker Deals Project
Sneaker Deals is a platform for selling and buying sneakers. We have a catalogue of all the sneakers we sell and a dashboard for our sellers to manage their inventory. We had completed the essential pieces of the project but we faced highly unstable providers which went completely against our vision and branding. I enrolled for a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science at The ICT University Cameroon. The major aligned the most with my passion for tech, engineering and computers with expectations to graduate by 2025 Q3

3d Modelling Bootcamp ICT University
I participated in the 3D Modelling Bootcamp organised by ICT University Cameroon. It was a great opportunity to learn and apply my skills in 3D Modelling. It was a 1 month training program starting from absolute zero knowledge
We learned all the essentials of 3D Modelling, including modeling, texturing, and animation. That casted a light in my engineering skills to use them in websites through Threejs and React Three Fiber
